Traditionally, adults no longer receive speech and language services once they finish high school. Erin provides adults with the option of receiving speech & language services in the natural environment, office, or via FaceTime/telephone. Her philosophy is to take these moments that the clients bring up and provide opportunities for learning and growth.
Erin is an integral part of the team for educators as well as families.
She believes that collaboration with parents and other professionals as well as any other people involved in the client’s life is an integral and necessary part of any therapeutic program. She works with both existing programs and creates individualized social learning curriculum for the individual based on measurable goals. Erin believes it is crucial to teach self-regulation and coping strategies to decrease anxiety as early as possible. By embedding these techniques into her individualized Social Learning Curriculum the clients are provided with a safe environment to develop their self-awareness for social learning skills.
